What this site is

A read-only view of one household’s investment portfolio and the research behind it. Sign-in is restricted to a short allowlist of family members. There are no public accounts, no advertising, and no analytics trackers.

The Gmail connection

The operator connects his own Gmail account so that the site’s research tools can read investing newsletters he subscribes to. Specifically:

• It uses a read-only Gmail scope. It cannot send, delete, move, or modify mail.
• It reads only messages the operator has labelled for ingest (newsletters), not the rest of the mailbox.
• It extracts the text of those newsletters and stores it in the operator’s own database, where it is summarised and ranked as idea flow.
• The only Google account ever connected is the operator’s own. No other person’s email is accessed.

What is shared

Nothing is sold, shared, or transferred to third parties. Extracted newsletter text is stored on infrastructure the operator controls and is used solely to run this site’s own research features. Google user data is never used for advertising, never shared with other people, and never used to train general-purpose AI models.

Sign-in data

Family sign-in uses an email code via Clerk. The site keeps your email address only to check it against the allowlist and to know who is signed in.

Retention and removal

Stored newsletter text is kept as part of the research record and can be deleted by the operator at any time. Disconnecting the Gmail integration (from the Google account’s third-party access settings) revokes the site’s access immediately.
